Floyd Mayweather has made a career out of being so obnoxious and insufferable that a huge chunk of people will fork over a huge chunk of money to see him get knocked out but every time the man fights, he’s so skilful inside the ring that he always manages to walk away with the W.
And now, in order to keep the flames of hatred burning hot and, in turn, sell more PPV’s than ever before for his upcoming boxing match with Conor McGregor, ‘Money’ has created something he calls “The Mayweather Challenge.”
In his own words, Floyd explains the ins and outs of his new challenge:
“Listen, we’re tired of people on social media fronting like they live a certain lifestyle when they really don’t so, The Mayweather Challenge is showing the people how you really live.”
Cool challenge, bro.
In his 55 second video, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather manages to say ‘The Mayweather Challenge’ an incredibly obnoxious five times (or once every 11 seconds, if you’re into maths…). It’s no wonder people want to see him get punched in the face.
Well now, humble heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua has given an absolutely perfect response to Mayweather’s challenge. This is fu*king hilarious…
The popular British boxer recently announced that he wants a spot on the undercard of the McGregor/Mayweather fight that is set to take place on August 26.
So far he has received plenty of responses from people who were keen to take up The Joshua Challenge, including UFC heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic.
The Ohio native took to Instagram to call out Joshua, writing that “Me against Joshua would be a great fight. I think I’d surprise a lot of people, I think it’d be an amazing fight – let’s do it! He’s a great guy. He’s tough, he’s a champion for a reason. I think I’d give him a run for his money.”
Joshua’s response was a nod to ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor: he simply wrote: “Who the fooook is that guy?” in the comments section. What a legend!
