U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has proven time and again that she is not a woman to be messed with. The latest suspect to learn this lesson was a smug Arab reporter, who on Tuesday accused Haley of “discrimination.” She quickly silenced his lying mouth with an epic response that he won’t soon forget. You’ll love this.
On Tuesday, Ambassador Haley echoed President Donald Trump in support of the protesters who have taken to the streets in Iran, demanding a change in their oppressive government. The protests have resulted in hundreds of arrests and over 20 deaths. Earlier, President Trump had tweeted his support for the demonstrators and warned Iran against human-rights violations.
This seemed to anger a reporter from Arabic Daily, who lashed out at Haley, suggesting hypocrisy in the U.S.’s response to the Iranian protests versus their treatment of the “Palestinian people.”
“You are so strong when it comes to the freedom and dignity of the Iranian people but you have a different meaning of freedom and dignity when it comes to the Palestinian people, who’ve been brutalized for over 50 years of occupation,” the smug Muslim reporter said to Haley during a press conference on Tuesday.
He continued his incendiary question, asking, “What made you believe that you are on the right side of history when you stood alone in the Security Council against 14 members and 128 countries?” The reporter was referring to the recent UN vote against President Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, in order to recognize the city as the Jewish nation’s capital.
“I stood proudly, even if I was the only hand in the Security Council to fight for the will of the people of the United States,” Haley replied. “They wanted to see the embassy moved to Jerusalem and we follow through with that.”
Last month, following the UN vote, Haley made it clear that “no vote in the United Nations will make any difference” on the U.S. decision to move the embassy. But she added that the Trump administration would be noting those who voted against the move.

“We very much still want to have a peace process, nothing changes with that,” Haley told the Arabic Daily reporter on Tuesday. “The Palestinians now have to show they want to come to the table. As of now, they are not coming to the table but they asked for aid. We are going to make sure they are coming to the table and we want to move forward with the peace process.”
Of course, what is unfolding in Iran is much different than the current situation with Palestine. President Trump perhaps summed it up best when he tweeted Tuesday regarding the possibility of cutting off funding for the Palestinians, citing the “HUNDRED OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS” a year they are given by the U.S. while they offer “no appreciation or respect” in return.
Indeed, while U.S. taxpayers have given generously to the same “Palestinian people” that the Muslim reporter alleged have been “discriminated” against, they have mercilessly attacked our only true ally in the Middle East, Israel. Why on earth would we continue to send funding to Palestine to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars when they are unwilling to work with the U.S. and her closest allies? That’s absurdity.
Nikki Haley’s response to the Muslim reporter who accused her of “discrimination” on Tuesday was spot on. Until Palestine comes to the negotiation table to work with the U.S., they have no business asking us for aid. They can hate us for free.
